Great to meet you!

As a fellow member of the human race, I know that life can be difficult. With training in both clinical mental health from Marshall University as well as biblical studies from the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, I see all of my clients as whole persons who deserve focused time and care. It is my privilege to be a steady guide through an uneven land.

My approach to therapy

I tailor my approach to the client's unique needs, not believing that one size fits all while working within a primarily humanistic therapy framework. I will assume the best of you as a person while helping you understand the parts of yourself that need healing and walk you through the process of finding ways to process pain, gain new perspectives, and take the next right step. I consider it a privilege to bear witness to the most tender parts of your life and serve as a nonjudgemental and supportive presence.

What you can expect from me

I like to create a low pressure space that feels welcoming and comfortable so you have the safety of being vulnerable. I am laid back but fully engaged, listening intently and offering feedback and questions that may give you insight and clarity. Our first session will include questions on my part to get to know you best and understand your vision of what you need from therapy and how I can best serve you.
