Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 17 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I received my graduate degree from New York University and previously spent 10 years as a special education teacher, which deeply shaped my understanding of learning differences, emotional needs, and family dynamics.

I am married with children, and both my professional and personal experiences help me connect with clients in a genuine, practical, and compassionate way.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building real-life coping skills.

I strive to create a warm, comfortable, and supportive environment where clients feel safe being themselves. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and approachable, and when appropriate, I thoughtfully use humor to help clients feel at ease and connected in the process of growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns or questions you may have. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving forward at your own pace.

Together, we will begin identifying helpful strategies and next steps so you can start feeling supported right away.
