Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Amy Camp Ryan, a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in Missouri since 2004. I earned my Master’s degree in Individual and Family Counseling from Saint Louis University and have spent my career supporting people through life’s challenges and transitions. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, relationship concerns, and moments of change that can leave us feeling stuck or uncertain. My approach is warm, supportive, and mindfulness-based, helping clients slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and build tools that support meaningful growth. I believe therapy is a space where you can reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in mindfulness. I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns so they can respond to life with greater clarity and intention. I often incorporate mindfulness-based strategies along with insight-oriented and cognitive approaches to help clients build practical tools for managing anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. Together, we create a supportive space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know each other and discussing what has brought them to therapy. I invite clients to share their goals, concerns, and what they hope to gain from our work together, while also answering any questions they may have about the counseling process. We will begin exploring patterns, stressors, and strengths to help guide the direction of therapy. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the path forward.
