Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in WV and OH. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, mood disorders, and the everyday stress that can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Marshall University.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, and trauma-informed, combining practical strategies with compassionate support to help clients navigate challenges and move toward growth and healing. I believe that feeling comfortable and understood is essential for meaningful work, so I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment.

I also bring a sense of humor into the process when it feels appropriate. Life can be heavy, and sometimes a little levity can help make difficult topics feel more manageable and human. At the same time, I’m direct and honest in my approach—I’ll support you, but I’ll also gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I focus on helping you identify practical ways to move forward, whether that’s building coping skills, gaining insight, or making meaningful changes in your life. Therapy with me is collaborative, and we’ll work together to find strategies that actually fit your goals and your day-to-day reality.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation for our work together. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, your current concerns, and your history so I can better understand your experiences and how to support you.

We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy—whether that’s managing anxiety or depression, working through past experiences, or navigating a life transition. If you’re not sure yet, that’s completely okay—we’ll figure that out together.

I’ll take time to explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. My approach is supportive but also direct—I’ll meet you where you are, while also helping you challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Most importantly, the first session is a space for you to get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit. You’re not expected to share everything all at once—just showing up is a meaningful first step.
