Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Amy Coleman, a licensed Clinical Social Worker, holding a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Walden University. Transitioning from a successful career as a performing artist, I redirected my passion towards fulfilling a lifelong goal of becoming a therapist. Some of the therapeutic modalities I work with are psychodynamic, strength based, mindfulness and CBT.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In our collaborative sessions, we will delve into your past experiences, beliefs, and thinking patterns that may be hindering your progress. Together, we will identify and challenge negative thoughts or behaviors, replacing them with healthier and more adaptive alternatives. As a client-focused therapist, I firmly believe that each individual's therapeutic process is unique.

What you can expect from our first session

Recognizing the challenges life presents, I acknowledge that navigating through difficult emotions or situations is not always straightforward. Whether you are contending with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or any other mental health concerns, I am committed to walking alongside you through every step of your journey.
