Great to meet you!

You may know something feels off, even if you cannot quite explain why. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing, depression has drained your energy and motivation, or you feel overwhelmed, irritable, distracted, or simply not like yourself anymore. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out for help.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing psychiatric medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and difficult life transitions. My goal is to understand the whole picture—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.

Medication management is guided by science, evidence-based practice, and most importantly, how you actually respond to treatment. There is no single medication or treatment plan that works for everyone. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to medication decisions, carefully considering your symptoms, health history, response to treatment, side effects, and personal goals. We will work together to find what works best for you.

My approach is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I want you to understand your treatment options and feel involved in the decisions we make about your care. I believe good mental health care should feel like a partnership, not a rushed appointment or a prescription handed to you without explanation.

Through The Mind Clinic TX, I provide convenient telehealth appointments for adults across Texas, allowing you to receive mental health care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. I use evidence-based guidelines and clinical science to guide treatment, while also paying close attention to how you actually respond to medication. Your symptoms, side effects, health history, lifestyle, and personal goals all matter when making treatment decisions.

I believe medication management should be an ongoing conversation, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and make adjustments based on your progress. My goal is for you to feel heard, informed, and actively involved in your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for me to get to know you and understand what has been going on in your life. We will talk about your current symptoms, health and medication history, past treatment experiences, and what you hope will improve. You do not need to have the right words or know exactly what you need before your appointment.

Together, we will discuss treatment options and develop a plan that feels realistic and appropriate for you. If medication is recommended, I will explain why, what to expect, and any potential side effects. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
