Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist in practice since I finished my doctorate in 1995. I provide psychotherapy for treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger and stress management, job and life-style changes, parenting issues, fertility and pregnancy issues, grief, and adjustment to aging. I provide some psychological assessments, including IQ, memory, and personality testing.

My approach to therapy

My theoretical orientation is psychodynamic and relational, with an emphasis on how relationships are important in an individual's life. I believe a client's feelings, self-image, and relationships with others contribute to both psychological strengths and problems. I an interactive in sessions and work as a guide and a partner in my clients' journeys, helping each individual work to change unhealthy patterns in order to develop a healthy self-image and happy, fulfilling relationships.

What you can expect from me

My style is conversational, collegial, and collaborative. I strive to develop a positive and warm connection with clients. Sessions are interactive, often with lively back-and-forth conversation, and I like to incorporate humor when appropriate to help clients engage in their personal work in a positive way.
