Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist has been rooted in my interest in people and the different ways we adapt to adverse life experiences. My own life experiences directly influence my approach to therapy. I am a gender-fluid, Korean adoptee, spouse, and parent. I believe that every person has their own story to tell and I hope to earn your trust and make space to hear and understand yours.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a psychodynamic framework and bring in mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and emotionally-focused skills. I am an EMDR trained clinician with a focus in treating racial trauma.

***My current openings are for remote sessions (no in person openings at this time) via video. All sessions are weekly, held on the same day and time every week.***

What you can expect from our first session

If you choose to begin therapy with me, we will spend several sessions on the history taking and assessment phase. This gives you time to discuss what's happening both now and historically that brings you into therapy so I can offer an eclectic treatment approach that fits your treatment goals. I offer a safe and dependable space for you to visit each week to gain awareness of unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior and insight into the experiences shaping how you view yourself and others.
