Great to meet you!

There are times when resources seem inadequate to effectively cope and be well. I offer an affirming and integrative approach necessary to create an essential level of felt safety that advances your journey inward.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Often we develop strategies with ourselves, others and the world that get us through, and survive, constructed from a lack of resources at some point on the journey of life. Walking alongside you, when the path is not clear, and helping you embrace curiosity instead of fears about the ways your adaptive strategies prevent you from being embodied, connected and creative is an honor and a gift.

What you can expect from our first session

Moving forward is difficult, and can seem impossible, even when parts of you are fully informed that repeating same thought, emotional and relational patterns is ineffective. I hold constant awareness that asking for help, and seeking change takes courage. And changing others will not work and the efforting in this direction is unlikely to bring you to a place of acceptance and healing. Shifting away from externals, and instead move towards ourselves with presence, profound shifts happen.
