As a licenced professional counselor it is my honor to support my clients to achieve their personal menthal health goals. I proivde a warm and supportive environment to develop a safe space for my clients to open up and work on very personal and meaningful issues in their life. I have been a counselor since 2018 but have worked in the mental health field in other roles for 25 years. I support children and adults from 5 years old and older to manage life stressors and adjustments that can cause anxiety and depression symptoms. I have experience working with people with different abilities and learning needs as well as working through the grief and bereavment process. I would be honored to support your journey.

My approach to therapy

As each individual has different needs, I taylor the counseling I provide to meet my client's individual needs. My approach to therapy is supportive trauma informed and solution focused. I help my client meet their individual goals using the best strategies that work for them.

What you can expect from me

When I begin working with you, I will get to know you and support you to get to know me. We will engage in a supportive discussion to help you describe what your goals are and what you are going through. I will provide validation and support and encouragment as we develop a plan of action to meet your needs. Once we get started with the counseling process I will provide a safe and sensitive environment and will use effective and prooven counseling techniques to help you achieve your mental health goals.
