Great to meet you!

My personable, open communication style will create a safe environment for you to move forward and achieve your goals whether you are looking to gain control over issues that seem hopeless, to achieve peace at home, or you are seeking techniques for self-improvement. I have more than 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including residential facilities, group homes, school-based, and outpatient programs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work to build strong therapeutic relationships through compassionate, trauma-informed care to help you feel safe. I approach the therapeutic process with a relationally-based approach, which focuses on establishing mutual trust to help you generate change. I believe that it is essential to create an authentic client-therapist relationship to help you work through the challenges you are facing.

What you can expect from our first session

I work by not only focusing on your struggles but by helping you identify your strengths, so that we can build from there. With empathy and genuine presence, we will process your experiences in their social and relational contexts to help you feel seen and heard. I strive to empower you to overcome life’s challenges and grow into the person you wish to be.
