Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been practicing for 26 years. I have great passion for what I do and truly love my job.

I treat individuals with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. I draw primarily from attachment theory to help you understand unhelpful patterns of behavior and replacing them with more effective strategies.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is a balance of active listening, collaboration, and gentle confrontation. I am direct in offering guidance, insight, and problem-solving strategies while helping you reach your own conclusions.

My approach is eclectic and informed by CBT, ACT, IFS, DBT and the neurobiology of trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to help people change in meaningful and lasting ways by helping them understand how their thoughts, feelings and actions relate to each other. Being able to tap into each allows you to respond more flexibly and effectively to people and problems. You'll leave sessions with a greater understanding and empathy for where you learned certain behaviors and with clear strategies for moving forward in more effective ways.
