Amy Green

I have a master's degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco, and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in Oregon, California, and Washington. I've been in private practice for 15 years and have over 18 years of experience in the field. I have also been trained in various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, EFT, MI, SFT, IFS, TF-CBT, CPT, ACT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Attachment-Focused Therapy.

I am a relationship-based therapist and have worked with most ages and specialty areas throughout my career, and I feel each person was a gift. I am exceptionally gifted in working with those who have experienced loss, trauma, relationship distress, co-dependency, difficulty with self-esteem and low self-worth, intimacy challenges, and feeling lost or unsure of where they belong within relationships and in life.

I am very active (yet not directive), and I like to help clients understand what is getting in their way from living the life they want, learn tools to make changes (internally and externally), and refocus on what they want for their future to look like. I am also a relationship-based therapist, so I think it is essential to get to know my clients and build an authentic relationship with them to feel connected and have a safe place to explore, learn, and heal.
