Great to meet you!

Every person's story is important to me, and holds valuable clues on how to best support their mental health. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse, I spent 20 years as a community health educator and public health researcher in the U.S. and overseas, focused on improving health outcomes for marginalized and under-resourced populations. I hold master's degrees in the science of nursing, public health, and medical anthropology.

My approach to therapy

Compassion, curiosity, and open-mindedness allow me to provide patients with personalized, creative approaches to treat their mental health symptoms, whether they choose to utilize medications or not.

What you can expect from me

During our initial visit, patients are invited to share their mental health challenges, strengths and treatment preferences. A treatment plan will be developed collaboratively. From this first meeting, many patients feel the relief of being seen, heard, and validated in their struggles.
