Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Amy, and I'm so glad you're here.

  1. Reaching out for therapy can be a big step, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about me. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialization in Addiction Counseling, from Cambridge College in 2014. My journey in the mental health field began in 2012 while I was in graduate school, and over the years I've had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and in a variety of treatment settings. I have experience supporting individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, psychotic disorders, relationship and family concerns, and life's many transitions. No matter what brings you to therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and accepted without judgment. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy because I believe that a strong, trusting relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. You are the expert on your own life, and I see my role as walking alongside you, helping you explore challenges, recognize your strengths, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and create lasting positive change. I believe therapy is a partnership. I'll bring my experience, support, and guidance, and I'll encourage you to bring your honesty, curiosity, and willingness to grow. Together, we'll work through life's challenges at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a place to better understand yourself, I'm here to listen, support you, and help you move forward. I look forward to being part of your journey.
