Amy Herzog

My journey into psychiatry is rooted in a deep curiosity about the human mind and its connection to overall health. I hold a BSc in Psychobiology with an emphasis in Neurosciences, an MPH, a BSc in Nursing, and a Masters in Nursing. Before psychiatry, I spent 5 years in pediatrics, 15 years in research, and 5 years in the intensive care unit. These experiences have given me a profound appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and the intricate interplay between mind, body, and spirit.

In my practice, I focus on treating the whole person. I take a collaborative approach to care, working alongside my patients to create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs. My areas of expertise include psychoneuroimmunology and holistic care, emphasizing the deep connections between mental health, the immune system, and overall well-being.

I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.

I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and thrive, and would be honored to be part of that journey.
