After years of working with individuals from all walks of life, my goal with each of my clients is to assist them in fostering their own sense of self. Often, we already know the solutions to the problems we face, but the stress of life can make identifying them a challenge. By using a mindfulness centered approach my hope to walk with my clients in their journeys towards those answers. The tools I use in my practice are CBT, IFS, and mindfulness modalities; along with a healthy dose of psycho-education.
I am happy to work alongside clients from all walks of life, while I do have a background as a chaplain, I welcome secular and individually spiritual clients as well. In addition, I am part of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities and hope to foster a safe space for all.
I am a trauma informed therapist, so regardless of the concern I do so with the knowledge that an individual's journey is rarely easy. I love to utilize parts work so my client's get to know themselves better in hopes of fostering a sense of inward kindness.
I hope that my clients walk into each therapy session with the knowledge that this is their space and their time to reflect and focus on their needs. When my client's leave, I hope that they have felt heard, not only by me, but by themselves as well.
