Great to meet you!

After navigating the last two decades of my own chronic illness and disability, I’m honored to support others whose lives have not gone according to plan. I'm very lucky to be a mom after challenges with infertility, loss, and birth trauma, and I have a certification in perinatal mental health. I've also studied and taught RIE/respectful parenting methods. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, sex positive, and very openhearted in supporting your choices.

My approach to therapy

I offer clients authentic connection, compassion, and respect while exploring their unique struggles and strengths. I provide collaborative practice to make meaningful choices in the face of loss and grief. Chronic illness, disability, dementia, and medical trauma are my primary specialties. I also have a passion for supporting clients with perinatal mental health, parenting challenges, grief, loss, and LGBTQIA+ issues.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is usually focused on gaining an understanding of your most pressing needs as well as exploring the root causes and stressors that you would like to address in our work together. I truly enjoy getting to know new clients and love digging into the unique strengths and the many gifts you bring to the table. While I strive to challenge everyone in ways that help them grow, witnessing and validating your experience are an essential element of the relationship we create together.
