Great to meet you!

As a psychologist, I am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Growing up in Brazil and having lived and traveled in different parts of the world has given me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, perspectives, and life experiences. I provide therapy in both English and Portuguese and strive to create an inclusive, supportive space where clients feel understood and valued.

I earned my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University and also hold an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. I specialize in supporting college students, women navigating life transitions, fertility and family-building journeys, single mothers by choice, grief and loss, relationship concerns, anxiety, and stress management.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, facing a major life decision, coping with loss, or seeking more fulfilling relationships, I am here to help you build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I draw from Relational-Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindful Self-Compassion practices to help clients better understand themselves and develop practical tools for growth.

I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and self-awareness. Together, we'll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships while building skills to manage challenges more effectively. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I'll take time to learn about your background, current concerns, and what brought you to therapy, while also discussing your goals and hopes for our work together.

Most importantly, you can expect a warm, supportive space where you can share at your own pace without fear of judgment. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
