Great to meet you!

In 2010, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Social Work through the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. The letters after my name (LCSW) stand for Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and it means I am an advanced practice social worker. My background includes more than 14 years working with veterans and family members through the Department of Veterans Affairs. I have extensive training and experience with treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

Depending on your needs, I may incorporate mindfulness, compassion, CBT, hypnotherapy, HeartMath, and other mind-body approaches. Our work is collaborative and practical: we'll identify what matters most to you, develop tools you can actually use outside of therapy, and regularly check in on what's helping you.

What you can expect from me

We will explore the current issues that are bringing you to therapy, your background and history, and then create therapy goals together. We'll regularly check in about what's working, what isn't, and whether therapy is helping move toward the changes that matter to you.
