Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you are trying to manage everything on your own while balancing the demands of work, relationships, family, and everyday life. You may feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or unsure of how to move forward. Over time, that pressure can show up as chronic worry, burnout, stress, sadness, grief, or a growing sense of disconnection from yourself and the people around you. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family issues, stress management, and women’s issues. I work with adults and families, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with over 20 years of experience, my goal is to create a supportive space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest about what you are carrying while also building practical tools that help you move forward. Therapy should help you better understand your patterns, strengthen your resilience, and create meaningful change both in and outside of session. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and solution focused approaches to help support lasting growth. In our sessions, we may explore past experiences, identify patterns that are keeping you stuck, process difficult emotions, improve communication, and develop healthier coping strategies for daily life. I often work with people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic, stress, life transitions, family conflict, parenting challenges, LGBTQIA+ concerns, emotional overwhelm, low mood, and challenges related to identity that can make daily life feel especially difficult.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to show up as warm, supportive, encouraging, and nonjudgmental. I believe meaningful therapy is built on trust, safety, and collaboration, and I work hard to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I will meet you with empathy while also helping you gently challenge patterns that may no longer be serving you. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, family challenges, parenting stress, burnout, grief, or uncertainty about what comes next, we will work together to build greater self awareness, healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of confidence, balance, and emotional well being.
