Great to meet you!

As a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker helping individuals heal is really important to me. Throughout my years of specialized training and experience, I have worked with adults facing post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences with particular emphasis on active duty /veteran centered care to also include other government agencies.

My clinical emphasis is in trauma-focused treatment, and I am trained in several proven therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). By integrating these methods, I tailor treatment to each client’s needs, helping individuals safely process traumatic memories, reduce distressing symptoms, and regain a sense of control in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. Known for creating a warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, I believe that healing happens within a trusting relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, developing practical coping skills, and moving toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Trust is earned and takes time which is why the initial session is often one of the most important steps in the therapist / client relationship. I focus our first meeting on rapport building and ensuring all questions, concerns, and goals for therapy are understood and the client feels a sense of control in their therapeutic journey.
