Great to meet you!

I specialize in women’s mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), PMDD, and mood changes related to perimenopause and menopause such as anxiety, depression, irritability, and sleep disturbance. I also treat a range of conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I have completed Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychopharmacology training through Postpartum Support International, further strengthening my ability to safely and effectively treat individuals during pregnancy and postpartum.

My background in women’s health and postnatal nursing informs my care for individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and other reproductive life transitions. I also have experience in behavioral oncology, supporting individuals coping with cancer and complex medical conditions, which has strengthened my commitment to treating the whole person.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over seven years of experience in outpatient psychiatry, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments for women.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in a whole-person perspective. I focus on understanding each woman’s unique experiences, thought patterns, and behaviors while addressing both the psychological and physical aspects of mental health.

I integrate medication management with supportive psychotherapy to help patients develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build long-term stability. I value creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring challenges, gaining insight, and actively participating in their treatment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, women can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation in a safe, supportive environment. We will explore your history, current concerns, and goals to develop a clear understanding of your needs.

From there, we will begin building an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management, therapy, or both. My goal is for you to leave the session with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and the confidence that you are supported in your path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
