Great to meet you!

I view therapy as a collaborative process and believe that you are the expert on your own life and experiences. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and intention. I strive to create a supportive, compassionate space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered as we work together toward the goals that matter most to you.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2005 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Throughout my career, I have maintained a deep belief in each person's capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can explore your experiences without judgment and gain greater clarity about yourself and your relationships.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches including person-centered, strengths-based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), and solution-focused therapies, I help clients deepen self-understanding, build practical coping skills, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and intention. Together, we'll identify what is working, explore opportunities for growth, and make space for healing, acceptance, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and the challenges or experiences that are most relevant to your life right now. I'll ask questions to help me understand you as a whole person, including your relationships, strengths, supports, and any important experiences that provide context for what you're navigating today. You'll also have space to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Together, we'll begin identifying goals for our work and discuss how I can best support you moving forward.
