Great to meet you!

Hi! I have been working with children and families for over 8 years, and I am passionate about helping families and children find their voice. I especially enjoy working with teens and families, as well as clients dealing with anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, trauma, and difficult family dynamics. I take the work I do very seriously, though I also have a dark sense of humor and can be sarcastic. I look forward to working with you on your goals.

My approach to therapy

You set your goals for treatment. You are the expert in your life, and I simply provide an outside perspective that can lead to clarity. I am conversational, direct, and solution-oriented, and I believe in being honest because lying takes too much effort. I enjoy working with teens and families and working through obstinate behavior. My goal is to help you feel comfortable talking openly so we can figure out what works for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and start identifying your goals. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. I’ll listen, ask questions, and provide an outside perspective that can lead to clarity. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable talking with me and being honest about what is going on. If you think we may be a good fit, book a free consultation and let’s get started.
