Great to meet you!

I approach therapy collaboratively and with empathy, humor, and determination. I am inspired by how people are able to change and make progress when they have the emotional support and the tools to move forward. I will maintain open communication with you and adapt to what you need. This allows me to help clients who have had dissatisfying therapy experiences in the past have a different type of experience as well as make those new to therapy comfortable getting started.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a psychologist I use a variety of techniques, knowledge, and processes. I also look for your direction as you are the expert on your own life. Approaches: CBT, psychodynamic, strenghth-based, positive psychology, relational, and solution-focused. Speciality in work-related issues including career planning and motivation, job stress, burnout, and workplace relationships. I also often support people through other life transitions in their work and personal life.

What you can expect from our first session

We will explore and understand your strengths, your fears, and to become aware of how past experiences, including trauma, connect to unhelpful patterns. I believe in the power of honest and supportive relationships - in and out of therapy. I offer tools and perspectives to improve these relationships, communicate better, center yourself and your own needs, ask for what you want, and reduce anxiety and depression. (note: I only work with individuals, not families or couples).
