Great to meet you!

I'm so glad you found me! I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families that has stemmed from my very first job as a figure skating coach for 3-5 year old children. Since then, my focus has been on serving children and adolescents in education, youth non-profits, and private practice work. As a private practice clinician since 2017, my areas of interest have also expanded to include adults and couples.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Our work together will be collaborative and flexible, in order to ensure that your needs, or your child's needs, are being met in the most helpful way possible. While therapy is about identifying what can be working better, I also want to celebrate your strengths and successes together. Often, solutions can be found in what we do well!

What you can expect from our first session

What you can expect from me in session is that I will provide a soft landing spot after a hard day, or just when you aren't feeling like yourself. I enjoy bringing compassion and humor to my sessions, while teaching evidence-based strategies and skills, and having honest conversations around how perfectly imperfect we can be as humans.
