Amy Oxener

I specialize in working with children showing ADHD symptoms, anxiety, or trauma to stop believing they have to fit the societal mold and begin healing and understanding themselves. My goal is to partner with you for you to feel supported as the parent, your child to gain understanding of their behavior, and enhance the parent/child relationship.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have extensive training in Adlerian Play Therapy, level one Theraplay training, and trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I work from an attachment-based framework, incorporate mind-body connection, and counsel from a brain based, developmental, and holistic perspective.

I will work with you to create goals for you and your child. Session can be child only, parent/child, or parent sessions to discuss treatment plans and progress.
