Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy often means you’re carrying a lot—emotionally, physically, or both—and wanting greater clarity about what’s happening and why. My goal is to offer a supportive, collaborative space where you can gain insight into your experiences, feel genuinely understood, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I work with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan, drawing on many years of experience in diverse clinical settings. I am fellowship-trained in Pediatric/Child and Clinical Health Psychology and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and health-related concerns, including support before and after surgery.

As a bilingual Korean clinician and a veteran with over 28 years of service, I bring a deep appreciation for the cultural, family, and community factors that shape each person’s experience. I am committed to providing inclusive, affirming care and welcome clients from all cultural, ethnic, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds.

If you’re seeking thoughtful, experienced care and a therapist who will meet you where you are, I invite you to reach out to see if we may be a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach begins with meeting clients where they are, creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters empowerment, insight, and resilience. Together, we focus on developing practical coping skills and strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Pursuing psychotherapy can feel daunting and intimidating for many people, which is why creating a safe and supportive space is essential. My goal is to offer an environment where you can openly share your experiences, explore challenges, and reflect on the areas of your life where you want growth and clarity. I believe in meeting clients with genuine understanding and unconditional regard, while working together to define meaningful goals and therapeutic objectives.
