I am a clinical psychologist providing individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology and am licensed to practice psychology in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
I have specialized training and experience with late adolescents and young adults. I particularly enjoy helping those individuals navigate identity issues and developmental challenges associated with one's journey through life.
My therapeutic style is filled with authenticity, respect, warmth, empathy, and humor. I like to ask questions that make people reconsider what have seemed like life’s “givens.” I challenge people to take the risk to envision what is possible, and grow into their full potential.
It is well established in the body of psychological literature that what makes effective psychotherapy, more than any other factor, is the quality of the relationship between the client and therapist. I nurture strong relationships in which my clients feel safe sharing and exploring their lives.
