Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in N Austin. Much of my clinical background is in Eating Disorder treatment. I also have extensive experience helping clients with various mental health struggles including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, exploration of gender identity and or sexuality, interpersonal relationships, difficulty with life transitions, trauma, and more.

My approach to therapy

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more humanistic approaches to provide a combination of emotional processing, improving awareness, and practical skill building for my clients. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can talk, connect, process, and learn tools to help you on your path towards personal fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, supportive, safe environment for clients to talk about their struggles and leave feeling like they were heard and also that they have some direction in how to better manage their unwanted thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. I use a combination of talk therapy and skill building. The goal is for my clients to gain the tools they need for themselves so they don't need me anymore.
