Great to meet you!

20+ years helping youth, adults and families work through grief and trauma, restore relationships, and build healthier thought and behavior patterns. Specializing in helping clients in transition or facing a dilemma.

Licensed Counselor & Certified Coach with lived experience as Ohio Hall of Fame DI basketball player & coach, espn color analyst, C-level corporate executive, non-profit leader, cancer survivor, later in life adoptive parent, and member of multi-racial family.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My father died the same week I found out I had cancer. I had a successful career but longed for more-- so I decided to exchange $ for purpose. I went back to school (for a second masters), survived my cancer scare, adopted two kids, and now spend my life helping people find their "sweet spot".

Problems are easy to identify- I help clients figure out what they'd like their life to look & feel like and help them build the skills and confidence to courageously follow their dreams.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is that you experience renewed hope, confidence, and courage in abundance.

You are not responsible for what happens to you, but you are responsible to deal with it. I'm here to help you become more aware of your thinking patterns and behavior choices. I'll listen, ask great questions, and keep it real-with compassion and a sense of humor.

Experience in educational, athletic, non-profit, community, and legal system environments. Now accepting new clients with insurance or self-pay.
