Great to meet you!

Something keeps getting in the way. Focus slips. Emotions escalate. Family dynamics get stuck in the same patterns. I'm Amy, a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist in New York. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, and family challenges, bringing a neuropsychologist's eye to every conversation.

My approach to therapy

My training spans cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, and ParentChild Interaction Therapy, a structured, evidence-based approach for families with young children that rebuilds connection while addressing behavior at the root. For children and teens with attention challenges, I bring a neuropsychologist's lens, connecting what assessment reveals to what we actually work on in sessions. For adults navigating anxiety, low mood, or overwhelm, I focus on the thought patterns and habits that keep things stuck and what it would take to shift them. Sessions are collaborative, direct, and grounded in what matters to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an intake form. I want to understand who you are and what has already been tried. If you are reaching out for a child, I want to hear both what you are seeing and what your child is experiencing. I will be direct about what I think is happening and what I think will help. You will leave with a clear direction and something concrete to work on.
