Great to meet you!

I earned my Masters degree in Social Work from Columbia University and bring more than 25 years of clinical experience. I take an insight-oriented and practical approach to helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions. My approach is both insight oriented and practical, helping clients better understand the patterns shaping their lives while developing concrete tools for lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy integrates both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic principles. CBT helps clients identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors promoting immediate coping strategies. Meanwhile, psychodynamic therapy delves into unconscious processes and past experiences to uncover and address deep seated emotional issues. This combination allows for symptom relief and long term emotional growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can gain practical tools for managing their current issues and gain insight into underlying emotional patterns, fostering both immediate relief and long term personal growth.
