Great to meet you!

I bring over two decades of experience supporting people through life's challenges, including 23 years working as a school counselor before moving into clinical practice. That background gave me a deep appreciation for how differently people show up depending on their age, their story, and the parts of themselves they're carrying. Outside of my clinical training, I'm a certified yoga and Ayurveda practitioner, and meditation is one of my true passions — I've completed several specialized trainings and mentorships in this practice and love weaving it into the work we do together. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to tap into intuition, both my own and yours, helping you reconnect with parts of yourself you may have lost touch with. I keep my caseload low on purpose, so I can show up fully for each person I work with, and my office is a cozy, comfortable space designed to help you feel at ease exploring whatever you bring into the room.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a modality I'm passionate about because it honors the idea that we're made up of many parts — all of which are trying to help us thrive, even when they show up in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming. Together, we'll work to build more balance and compassion among those parts so you can move through daily life feeling more like yourself. I work with clients of all ages, six and up, and with younger clients I use a client-centered approach, following the child's lead rather than imposing a fixed agenda. Meditation is also a meaningful part of how I practice, and clients are welcome to explore it as a tool both in session and in their everyday life. Ultimately, my goal is to help you reconnect with your own intuition, develop genuine self-compassion, and learn to navigate this complicated world in a way that feels steadier and less overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is making space for you to share whatever has been on your mind — there's no rigid script to follow. We'll review your intake information together, and I'll offer some initial insight into what you can expect as we move into the weeks and months ahead. My style and office are cozy and inviting, with creative approaches available if traditional talk therapy isn't quite the right fit for you in that moment. Most importantly, I want you to leave that first session feeling heard, with a clearer sense of how we'll work together — and knowing I'm with you for as long as your journey calls for.
