Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience supporting clients to manage anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation and family dynamics. My clinical background includes individual therapy, group therapy, as well as working several years on an inpatient psychiatric unit. I have specialized training in working with folks in pregnancy and postpartum, as well as those struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a space that should feel supportive and nonjudgemental. At times, it may feel challenging, but overall, the experience should leave one feeling less burdened. I use an integrative approach, pulling from a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention, as well as utilizing a relational and psychodynamic approach.

What you can expect from me

First sessions always include a lot of questions and time for us to get an overview of your life and what brings you to therapy. Follow up sessions will involve further understanding the scope of the issues, and utilizing aforementioned modalities that will best serve you to make progress toward your goals!
