Great to meet you!

My name is Amy Sanseverino. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I specialize in supporting individuals through significant life transitions, particularly when they are experiencing overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, depression, confusion, or conflict.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Gestalt lenses. I encourage you to share your story, as healing occurs when you speak the truth that matters most to you.

When working with children, I take an educational approach to emotional intelligence. Through conversation and play, I help children build emotional awareness so they can better self-regulate and communicate their needs during conflict.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to join you on this journey to help you discover what a fulfilling life looks like for you.

Together, we will build an awareness of your cognitive schemas and the beliefs you live by, challenging you to determine how you would like to grow to be more emotionally intelligent.
