Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker with a master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, and I am licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. With 20 years of experience, I bring compassion, understanding, and expertise to my work with women, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I specialize in supporting clients through a wide range of life experiences, always striving to create a welcoming and affirming environment. My approach blends evidence-based therapies with a warm, collaborative style tailored to your unique needs. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward personal growth, healing, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is all about seeing you as an individual and making sure I understand your unique story first and foremost. I believe we all have the potential to grow, and sometimes the right support—plus a little self-kindness—can make a world of difference. I try to be flexible and go at your pace, and I always welcome feedback so we can make sure you’re getting what you need from our work together. My hope is to help you recognize your strengths and find realistic, healthy ways to cope with anything that’s tough or isn’t working in your life right now. At the end of the day, we’re a team—I'm here to help, but you are the expert on your own life.

What you can expect from me

In our first therapy session, we'll take some time to get to know each other and create a comfortable starting point for our work together. We'll talk about what’s bringing you in—whether it’s something specific on your mind, a general sense that things could be better, or simply a wish for personal growth. I like to gently explore parts of your story, including important relationships and experiences that have shaped who you are. Please know there’s no rush to share anything before you’re ready—our space is confidential, respectful, and completely judgment-free. My main goal in this first meeting is simply to listen, learn about your unique journey, and start figuring out how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
