Great to meet you!
I’m Amy Sharman, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, trauma, grief, perfectionism, work stress and balance, self-criticism and self-doubt, and major life transitions. I work primarily with adults, including high-achieving individuals who may appear to have it all together while privately feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have additional training in EMDR, anxiety and trauma-focused approaches. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 15 years working in marketing and communications, which gives me a particular understanding of workplace stress, burnout, high expectations, and the pressures that can come with professional success.
I see therapy as a space where you can be honest about what is really happening beneath the surface—without judgment or having to have all the answers.
