Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Amy Sobrino. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have worked within a variety of settings including crisis helplines, long-term care communities, higher education, libraries, and non-profit organizations. I've spent much of my work with caregivers and care partners, and have a passion for helping people who care for others.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I support clients who are looking for perspective and guidance to fully realize their wellness goals. My practice focuses on working with caregivers/care partners, parents, and older adults but I welcome anyone who is looking to gain clarity in a new role, identity, or challenging life situation. I utilize a variety of therapies including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused brief therapy, and strengths-based therapy.

What you can expect from me

It’s an act of courage and bravery to truly prioritize yourself and begin to work through challenges and constructs that may be working against you. I’m constantly inspired by the resilience of my clients and consider it an honor to walk in partnership through some of their most challenging times and situations. Welcome, I look forward to meeting you.
