Great to meet you!

I'm here to offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore your inner world, address challenges, and begin the process of profound healing and growth.

To support our work together, I have pursued specialized training in several transformative approaches:

  • CCTP-II (Level II Trauma Certified): I have advanced training in trauma-informed care and treatment modalities. This certification ensures I am equipped to safely and effectively address the impact of past trauma, including dissociative disorders, helping you process difficult experiences and move toward post-traumatic growth.
  • C-DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Certified): DBT provides practical, concrete skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, living in the present moment, and tolerating distress. It is highly effective for those struggling with emotional dysregulation and interpersonal challenges.

• Internal Family Systems (IFS- informed): This powerful, evidence-based model views the mind as a system of "parts" (e.g., a critical part, a vulnerable part, a protective part). IFS helps you develop a compassionate, curious relationship with these different facets of yourself, leading to greater internal harmony and wholeness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to mental wellness. My approach is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored specifically to your unique needs and goals. This flexible framework allows for a truly personalized therapeutic experience.

My foundational principles are warmth, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance. I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. Within this safe container, I also believe in being appropriately challenging, encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone, gain new perspectives, and make meaningful changes in your life.

Collaboratively Creating a Treatment Roadmap

Therapy is a collaborative journey; we are co-pilots in this process.

  • Identifying Your Goals: We will work together to define what a "successful" outcome looks like for you. This might involve managing anxiety, processing past trauma, improving relationships, or simply gaining more clarity. We'll set clear, realistic goals as a roadmap for our work.
  • Understanding the Approach: I will explain my eclectic approach, which draws on specialized techniques like IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and my Level II Trauma Certification, and how these tools can be integrated to meet your specific needs.

• Answering Your Questions: This is your opportunity to ask me anything about my methods, confidentiality, logistics, or what you can expect in future sessions. I want you to feel informed and empowered in your choices.
