Great to meet you!

As a licensed therapist in California, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. My practice centers on helping clients heal from trauma, build self-esteem, and develop meaningful connections. I'm particularly passionate about working with young adults, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing challenges related to relationships, personal identity, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I am fairly laid back (though I will challenge you), largely client-centered (you guide the process), and primarily focused on you finding/gaining understanding, acceptance, empathy and compassion for/within yourself. I have been described as supportive, caring, understanding, open-minded, and compassionate with a pretty good sense of humor. Along with teaching effective skills and methods, I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles, build your confidence, and be the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

I'm here to help you sort through what may be difficult in your life right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment or bias. My hope is that you will feel heard and empowered while we work together to help you grow your ability to treat yourself with kindness, patience, and grace. I would like to help you work on the struggles you are facing, set positive and attainable goals, and develop into a healthy well-rounded individual.
