Great to meet you!

Congratulations! Asking for help can be hard, but you are on your way! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15+ years of experience working and teaching in a variety of treatment settings with patients/clients from ages 5 and up! From depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, trauma, and chronic illness, and many more, I have seen a lot, known some more, and lived a few. It would be a privilege to work with you and support and guide you as you strive to be happy and well.

My approach to therapy

I consider clients to be the experts on themselves. With that information, their "story" so to speak, I hope to add to the narrative. Often called kind and "soothing", I inform my clients and facilitate healthier ways to approach difficult tasks. An integrated approach allows me to pull from several tools to best fit client need, avoiding a "one size fits all" model. Best of luck in finding the right fit for you. And should that fit be me, I look very forward to meeting you!!

What you can expect from me

In working with me, clients can expect to hopefully leave sessions, with a bit less or different load to carry than when they started. I wish that our time spent together will result in a "take home" for the day as well as a question or two for consideration in between sessions. Not every session will be "remarkable", but it is all a process, and all important. And even the smallest of changes can influence the whole. I look forward to accompanying that journey.
