My name is Dr. Amy Thomas, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, spiritual concerns, or career-related stress. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from their sense of purpose, seeking clarity and healing during challenging times.
I help by providing a welcoming, collaborative space where your unique experiences, values, and goals serve as the foundation for our work together. My therapeutic approach is inspired by Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy, which emphasizes the profound human search for meaning, and is thoughtfully blended with evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other modalities tailored to your needs. I meet you exactly where you are, combining genuine engagement and compassion with encouragement and actionable steps. Upon request, I also integrate a Christian perspective into the therapeutic process.
In our first few sessions, you can expect thoughtful reflection, a focus on building trust and understanding, and the identification of your strengths and barriers. We will move at your pace, working together to set goals, cultivate resilience, and foster meaningful change. My style is warm and respectful, but I will also gently challenge you to step outside your comfort zone in pursuit of growth and transformation.
