Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2000. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and my Master of Social Work from Springfield College. Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including residential and inpatient care, and have supported children, adolescents, and young adults. I’m especially passionate about working with marginalized individuals and helping people improve their overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, structured approach to therapy, using a blend of task-centered and systemic methods to help you make meaningful progress. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and behavior modification techniques to help you better understand patterns in your thoughts and behaviors—and to create real, lasting change. My goal is to provide tools and strategies you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, your background, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll begin identifying clear goals and outline a path forward so you can leave the session with a sense of direction and next steps.
