Great to meet you!

I'm a warm, empathic, humorous, open-minded, and solution-focused therapist. I'm a relational therapist with interpersonal, psychodynamic, cbt, and dbt approaches, depending on the client's issue. Much of this is rewiring the way in which speak to ourselves and healing childhood wounds by building self-compassion. Self-compassion can help us heal and cope with traumatic experiences, self-defeating behaviors, and overwhelming life transitions. I have a passion for helping people find resolution and relief from their issues.

My approach to therapy

I encourage my clients to understand and process the dynamics in their family system growing up, their attachment issues, as well as the impact of social issues such as identity and culture. I work with everyone on an individual basis tailoring therapy to their specific needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

I also believe that the client and therapist working together to forge a strong, collaborative, and secure relationship can help to serve as a model for the client’s future relationships with others including the most important relationship of all, the relationship with yourself.
