Great to meet you!

I believe every person deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, validated, and comfortable discussing your concerns. I have been a registered nurse since 1995 and have cared for patients in a wide variety of healthcare settings, including emergency medicine, intensive care, pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics, and surgery. After nearly two decades of bedside nursing, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Later, I completed a second Master of Science in Nursing at Gonzaga University and became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe the best care begins with listening carefully and understanding each person's unique experiences, goals, and challenges. Together, we develop a treatment plan that is individualized, practical, and based on the best available evidence.

I recognize that mental and physical health are closely connected, so I consider the whole person when making treatment recommendations. Depending on your needs, care may include education, lifestyle strategies, medication management, and ongoing support. My goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and confident as we work together toward improved health and well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you in for care. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and personal goals so I can gain a complete understanding of your situation.

You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what's most important to you, and discuss any concerns you may have about treatment. Together, we'll review possible options and create an initial plan that reflects your needs and preferences. My priority is to ensure you leave the session feeling heard, respected, and with a clear understanding of the next steps in your care.
