Great to meet you!

I've spent over 30 years working across multi-level bedside and outpatient nursing as well as multi-clinic psychiatric settings and the VA before launching my own telehealth practice here in Florida. That journey gave me a deep respect for what it takes to keep showing up for your mental health, especially when life gets complicated by trauma, a chronic health condition, or years of feeling unheard. I practice because I believe every adult deserves timely, thoughtful psychiatric care, not a rushed fifteen-minute check-in. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, and I bring the same attentiveness to each person that I wish I'd seen more of in larger clinical settings. If you're ready for a provider who actually has time for your full story, I'd love to talk with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with curiosity. Over my 3 decades in bedside nursing care, I have learned the value of understanding your full picture: your history, your body, your daily life, and what's actually gotten in the way, before we talk about medication. I often draw on cognitive behavioral techniques to help you notice the thought patterns feeding your anxiety or low mood, alongside careful, collaborative medication management. We find what actually fits your life, not a template. Warmth and genuine attention guide every session, and I think the best outcomes happen when you feel truly heard.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. I'll ask about your history, your day-to-day experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood changes, and what you're hoping to change or understand better. We'll talk through any chronic health conditions that might be part of the picture too, since your mind and body are connected. By the end, we'll have a real sense of each other and a starting point for care that feels right for you, on your timeline.
