Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, adults and couples. I bring both a professional background in relational and depth-oriented therapy and a personal sensitivity to cultural context, including Asian and cross-cultural experiences. I also speak Mandarin, which allows me to support clients in the language they feel most comfortable (我也提供中文心理諮商).

I care deeply about helping people restore connection—whether with themselves, with loved ones, or with the world around them. My practice is grounded in respect, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, experienced in guiding couples through structured assessments to enhance connection, communication, and growth.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in depth psychology and psychodynamic traditions, which means we’ll explore both present struggles and the underlying patterns shaped by past experiences. I also incorporate evidence-based approaches and is currently in training for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address trauma and inner parts work.

In session, I aim to be collaborative, warm, and thoughtful. I balance gentle exploration with direct insight, so that therapy feels both safe and meaningful. My focus is often on relationships, grief, anxiety, and identity concerns, but I work with a range of adult life challenges.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about creating a space where you feel safe and understood. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain, while also giving you time to share at your own pace. We’ll explore your goals together, and I’ll explain how I work so you can decide if it feels like the right fit.

Clients often describe the first session as a chance to slow down, feel heard, and begin clarifying what feels most important to them. By the end, you’ll have a sense of whether my approach resonates with you and what our work together could look like.
