Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life transitions, trauma recovery, neurodivergence, and emotional regulation. I specialize in working with autistic and ADHD adults, parents of neurodivergent children, and highly sensitive or creative professionals who often feel misunderstood or overwhelmed.

My professional background blends psychotherapy, coaching, and education, allowing me to bring both structure and flexibility into our work together. I draw from neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care, but my foundation is always compassion and curiosity. I believe in creating a space where you can be fully yourself — without judgment, masking, or pressure to “perform.”

Clients describe me as warm, grounded, and real. I aim to make therapy feel safe and collaborative — a place where your insights and lived experiences guide the process as much as any formal technique.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and relational, grounded in neurobiology and nervous system awareness. I see each person as a unique system — not a collection of symptoms — and focus on helping you understand how your brain, body, and environment interact. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may have formed as protective responses and explore how to move toward regulation, connection, and choice.

I work from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and strengths-based perspective. This means I help clients reframe challenges like emotional overwhelm, executive dysfunction, or social exhaustion through a lens of self-understanding rather than self-blame. My methods draw from mindfulness, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed dialogue, and cognitive restructuring, but everything we do is adapted to fit your natural processing style and comfort level.

Ultimately, therapy with me is about building trust — both in our work together and within your own nervous system.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to slow down and get to know each other. You can expect a mix of conversation, reflection, and gentle structure. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what’s been hardest lately, and what kind of support feels most helpful right now. There’s no need to have everything figured out — my job is to help you make sense of things at a pace that feels safe.

I’ll share a bit about how I work, answer any questions you have, and together we’ll begin outlining your goals or intentions for therapy. Some people come in with specific issues they want to address, while others just know they’re ready to feel different. Both are welcome.

Most clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief and groundedness — not because everything is solved, but because they finally feel understood and not alone. Our work will continue to build from there, one step at a time, toward greater self-trust, calm, and clarity.
